We are proud to announce that we will be taking part in the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund “Wear Red Day” next month. On Friday 2nd February we will be asking all staff to wear red to raise awareness of the charity and the work they do helping children across the UK. We were first made aware of the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund after attending a recent training event in one of our Flintshire primary schools, where we were told of one pupil who is fundraising for the charity ahead of his own heart surgery in the coming weeks.
As well as wearing red on the day, we will be supporting the pupil’s fundraising with a donation and tweeting our own staff’s “redness” to spread the event across social media. To find out more about the charity, click here.
