Two new iPads for Westwood Community School

12Pupils at Westwood Community Primary School of Buckley were surprised to receive a visit from Lyndsay and Adam on Friday. They were delivering two new iPads for the school to be used by pupils and staff.

Head Teacher, Mr Nicholson recently held an Application Workshop exclusively for Excell teachers and as a thank you we thought the school would appreciate iPads which are being used increasingly more in the classroom environment but prove costly to a school budget.

Lyndsay of Excell Supply said “We strongly believe in giving back to local schools who we work closely with throughout the academic year and child development is at the forefront of everything we do so it is a pleasure to help where we can”.

Mr Nicholson explained the importance of keeping up to date with technology in education, “The use of these iPads in our school will help –Improve efficiency with recording child observations for assessments. Improve access to quick, immediate internet resources. Extend/enhance children’s use of ICT by recording work in different ways. Thank you to Excell for their continued support”.
