We work with well over 100 schools in the North Wales, West Cheshire and Wirral areas and our staff often end up in permanent work in schools they have worked in on supply. Unlike other agencies in the area we do not charge schools a finder’s fee when schools you have worked in in supply offer you a job – this makes you a far more attractive prospect to a school and ensures that you are not priced out of any jobs you apply for.
We work alongside schools and head teachers to offer letter of application workshops and mock interviews to build your confidence ahead of real vacancy applications.
CPD & Training
We offer a large programme of training courses throughout the year that are completely free of charge for all Excell Supply staff. Our course content is dictated by changes in the curriculum, suggestions from schools and requests from our own teachers and teaching assistants. All training is organised outside of the school day, ensuring you don’t have to miss work to attend.
We run courses during the half-term and school holidays at our Training Suite in our head office, and schools across the region host our Twilight Training Programme during term time. Find out more by following us on social media.
Recent changes to the Induction Guidance in Wales have meant that the support network to NQTs in permanent work has been revised. We wanted to reflect these changes in our own NQT support and have ensured our team of Education Advisors can replicate the relationship you would expect from an Induction Mentor. We regularly carry out informal lesson observations to provide peer to peer feedback on your teaching, as well as prepare you for your official NQT observations that your External Verifier will arrange as part of your induction.
We also offer a similar mentoring programme in West Cheshire and Wirral, although currently you are not able to complete your induction on day to day supply in England.
