County-led training dates for new NQTs have been confirmed this week as the calendar for the 2018-19 academic year starts to take shape. Training sessions on behaviour, induction and inclusion service have all been pencilled in for the Autumn term, with courses organised in September, October and November. 21/09/18 – Welcome to Wrexham session for new NQTs at the Catrin Finch Centre
19/10/18 – Behaviour Training all day at Grango for secondary NQTs
19/10/18 – Behaviour Training all day at Acton Resource Community Centre for primary NQTs
23/11/18 – Inclusion Service training all day at Grango school
Excell NQTs are also encouraged to attend our Newly Qualified Teacher briefings on Tuesday 4th September, offering an opportunity to learn more about how induction works on a supply basis and meet our lead NQT mentor who will be supporting you throughout your time with Excell. Sessions are free to attend but you must reserve a place in advance – speak to your account manager of call 01978 280 123.
