31Excell Supply Ltd is the fastest growing education specialist agency in Wales and as the end of another successful academic year approaches we are excited to announce a new advocate of career development to the expanding team.

Mrs Cheryll Oliver B.Ed[HONS],Dip.Prim.Maths,T.A.P.P will be carrying out CPD observations for Excell. This will help our teachers develop professionally and maximise quality assurance for our schools.

We pride ourselves on our innovative approach when offering an outstanding service to our schools, achieved by working intently with our candidates and tailoring individual needs.

Mrs Oliver qualified in 1977 kick starting her career in education as an assistant teacher at the Alun School in Mold, then later going on to St David’s High School in Saltney to head up the Religious Education Department. This lead to an internal promotion as Pastoral Head of Year, where the decision was then later made to pursue original training as a primary practitioner.

In 1990, Cheryll gained a teaching position at Christchurch CP School in Rhyl and so began her primary career. After two years at Christchurch, a promotional move took Cheryll to St Anthony’s Saltney for the Deputy Headship. From 1995 to 2013, Mrs Oliver had successfully taken the school through 4 inspections as Head Teacher, establishing St Anthony’s as a very successful Catholic Primary School. Additionally training as a student mentor with the University of Chester and interviewing prospective candidates for the teacher training courses provided there.

Mrs Oliver said, “Education is nothing short of life-changing and in as much our children should be faced with teaching professionals of the very highest calibre. I am pleased to play a part in that continuing process of quality assurance in our schools, helping teachers to become the very best they can be”.

Excell are committed to professional development and we spend a significant amount of time getting to know both candidate and client in order to provide the best possible service. We are looking forward to starting another busy academic year in September.
