ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Part-time – 18 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

 Permanent Contract

  BAND C salary range £7,320 p.a. – £7,442 p.a.

We require an enthusiastic, friendly and organised administration assistant to work in our busy school office.  Office experience is essential along with excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with diverse tasks and changing priorities.

Key duties will include being the first point of contact in our school office and maintaining a welcoming and informative reception for visitors.  The successful candidate will ideally have experience of handling sensitive and confidential issues, be flexible and possess good inter-personal skills.

The hours of working are Monday – Friday between the hours of 8.00 am and 12.00 pm, 38 weeks per year (term time).

Previous experience of working with school systems such as SIMS would be an advantage, plus an understanding of the complex needs of secondary school administration.
