With the BBC Children in Need appeal night set to air on Friday 17th November, we are excited to announce that we will be completing a sponsored ramble next week! Countryfile organised a series of charity rambles for Children in Need back in October and now the Excell team will be getting ramble ready in preparation for our own event next week.
The route will see members of the Excell team walk approximately 8 miles across the Flintshire countryside, stopping in Ysgol Y Foel in Cilcain along the way for some much needed refreshments! Company director Lyndsay Andrews said;
“Children in Need is a charity we have enjoyed supporting as a team down the years with bakes, bucket collections and onesie wearing but we wanted to take on something more challenging this time around. We have planned out our route, recruited our ramblers from the office and will be keeping a close eye on the weather forecast for next Friday!”
Our JustGiving page is now up and running here – any donations will be gladly received. We will have live updates on the day with our progress along the route so be sure to follow our social media pages next Friday from 9am. Our team will be made up of Lyndsay, Kate, Sam, Mike and dogs Stella and Tango.

£20 provides a counselling session for a 16 year old girl who lost her dad, helping her feel stronger and able to cope with everyday life
£30 means disabled children can do an indoor surfing session, where they can have fun while improving their balance and coordination
