We kicked off the new academic year by celebrating our very best staff from the Summer with our termly award winners being revealed.
Surprising staff at schools in Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham, each Excell Supply Account Manager presented their winner with a certificate and shopping vouchers in recognition of their successes during the Summer Term. Winners included three staff in Wrexham schools securing long term roles for September, a NQT making a difference in a challenging Flintshire KS2 setting, a teacher in Denbighshire who has completed last minute supply work across a record number of schools and a Chester-based teacher covering three counties tirelessly in both short and long term roles.
Of the awards, Branch Manager Adam Thomas said “As we continue to grow as a business and recruit more staff, selecting worthy winners of these awards proves more difficult with every passing year. Supply teachers rarely get the recognition they deserve and we think these awards go some way to demonstrating our appreciation of all the work they do. They are committed, versatile and, in my view, fearless individuals to step into unfamiliar settings week in, week out. Well done to all of our winners!”
